Thur the 19th

On Thursday there was a meeting with the friends club. It was a drinking party. They taught us some drinking games and how to make some Korean (ish) drinks. I say "ish" because some of the drinks were like "so-mek" which was mixing soju and mekju (beer and a little harder alcohol). Or a soju bomb which is a shot of soju dropped into a glass of beer. So, they weren't completely foreign but it was fun. I spent a little time with Grace but after the meeting, when everyone went out to bars, Grace didn't go (sad panda time).

After a night of drinking I tried to help clean up the bar and to get the other people out of the bar (I'm helpful like that). So, after it seemed that everyone was accounted for, I went out on a food hunt with Shane and his buddy Hyun. We were trying to find some pizza but every place was closed so Hyun took us to a convenience store and Shane got a slice of microwave pizza that, I'm told, wasn't that good. Then, after a couple of random stops, we went for Korean BBQ. Once there some of the other people saw us and stopped in to join us.

After dinner we had to decide if we wanted to go to norebang (karaoke / singing) or back to the dorm. In the end we went back to the dorm.
